Self‑Care is a core strength for Kenvue with ambitious goals to grow the portfolio through product innovation and scientific leadership in priority markets. To support this growth, we need experienced technical talent who can deliver strong science, lead complex programs, and help develop the next generation of scientists. We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Scientist to join our Self‑Care Future of Kenvue Innovation team.

This role requires a strategic thinker with strong formulation and/or process development expertise who can lead and execute R&D projects focused on creating and optimizing self‑care solutions. The successful candidate will manage multiple projects, solve complex technical challenges, and help shape the strategic direction of our R&D efforts. This role requires a high degree of autonomy and collaboration in a fast‑paced, regulated environment.

• Lead the design, formulation, and development of innovative self‑care products, with a focus on solid, semi‑solid and liquid dose forms.
• Design and execute strategies to overcome technical challenges in product formulation and manufacturing processes.
• Collaborate with product development and technical teams to ensure seamless technology transfer.
• Ensure compliance with FDA regulations and GxP standards throughout the development process.
• Stay current with regulatory guidelines and industry standards to ensure compliance and best practices.
• Utilize fundamental project management skills to track progress, mitigate risks, and deliver results.
• Communicate complex scientific and technical information effectively to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Participate in initiatives such as patent reviews, scientific forums, and safety leadership programs.
• Shape the scientific strategic planning and decision‑making processes related to product development and portfolio management, aligning R&D activities with broader business objectives.
• Demonstrate business acumen by understanding the impact of R&D activities on the company's overall goals.

• Bachelor’s Degree with 5+ years or Master’s degree with 3+ years of relevant experience. Degree must be in Materials Science, Biomedical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or a related discipline.
• Experience in early‑stage product development within the consumer health care or pharmaceutical industry .
• Proficiency in formulation development, process optimization, and/or analytical techniques. Experience with QbD (Quality by Design) principles is required.
• Experience in typical unit operations such as granulation, roller compaction, drying, milling, blending, compression/encapsulation, film coating, and spray drying etc.
• Knowledge and experience with regulatory requirements including ICH, FDA, compendia (e.g. USP, JP, EP, etc.) is highly preferred.
• Proven track record of managing complex projects, with strong organizational and leadership skills. Excellent project management skills, including timeline management, and team coordination.
