Expected Pay: (~$20-$25/HR INCLUSIVE OF TIPS)

ROOTS STEAKHOUSE
, Harvest Restaurants premiere Steakhouse in Summit, is looking for an experienced busser/food runner.

Busser /Runners'

General Responsibilities:
  • Maintain attentiveness to refill water glasses promptly.
  • Clear and reset tables in a timely manner.
  • Polish and replace beautiful glassware and silverware.
  • Clear bus tubs from the bar area.
  • Assist servers and bartenders as needed.
Food Runner

General Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with the expo in the kitchen to monitor incoming tickets.
  • Prepare to go to stations and ensure mise en place (having ingredients prepped and organized).
  • Organize plates onto the gueridon (food cart).
  • Deliver food to tables, correctly identifying each guest's plate without requiring instruction.

A seasoned back waiter/food runner can seamlessly transition between these roles.

Our goal is to exceed guest expectations by providing the highest level of consistent, professional, and courteous service.

To provide the highest quality service to guests at all times, by instilling the Harvest Way.

To report to work on time and in proper uniform, always punching in and out as required of all employees.

To promote teamwork within the restaurant, creating a positive work environment.

To properly execute all necessary steps of service.

Ensure the highest levels of cleanliness and organization throughout the restaurant at all times.

To provide exemplary service to all guests by applying knowledge of service and the food and beverage menus.

Respond positively to any guest’s requests.

Requirements
  • Proficient in all aspects of fine dining service.
  • Knowledge of food and beverage as well as a passion to cultivate this skill.
  • Displays a confident and professional appearance.
  • Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
  • High School Diploma preferred.
