Pest Control Technician

• Conduct thorough inspections of client properties to identify pest infestations, damage, and entry points
• Apply approved pest control products, including chemicals, baits, and traps
• Educate customers on pest prevention and reducing future infestation risks
• Build customer relationships and schedule and confirm appointments
• Help with sales to current customers and expand products to new customers
• Maintain, stock, and ensure proper working condition of pest control equipment
• Comply with local, state, and federal pest control and safety regulations
• Drive and safely operate a company-provided service vehicle
• Perform industry-leading pest management services for residential customers
• Identify and eliminate pests through inspections, treatments, and preventative measures
• Communicate pest control solutions to clients

• High school diploma or GED; related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Valid driver's license from state of residence
• Licenses/certificates as required by federal, state, and/or local regulations
• Available to work Monday-Friday and weekends as needed
• Clean-shaven face for respirator safety
• Open to learning and becoming knowledgeable in all areas of pest control
• Solid reading, writing, and verbal communication skills
• Basic math skills for following product-mixing instructions
• Customer-facing experience preferred
• Ability to work in tight, confined spaces
• Ability to work around animals, insects, termites, mechanical parts, vehicles, electrical current, heights, scaffolding, fumes, dust, and chemicals
• Ability to work inside and outside in the local climate
• Ability to regularly sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and use stairs, ladders, scaffolding, ramps, and poles
• Ability to wear personal protective equipment, including an OSHA-compliant respirator
• Drug-free workplace requirement

Demonstrates expertise in pest management services, including inspections, treatments, and preventative measures, while ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Strong customer relationship skills and effective communication are essential for educating clients and expanding service offerings.
