Sunset Auto Family is seeking a skilled Ford Certified Technician to join our team. We offer a supportive work environment, comprehensive training, competitive pay, and excellent benefits.

Job Details
  • Salary: $25 to $35 per hour
  • Job Type: Full Time
  • Location: Sumner, WA 98390
Primary Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot customer concerns accurately using the latest administrative and technical tools.
  • Stay current with technical publications and service communications.
  • Deliver safe and reliable vehicle service to meet customer expectations on the first visit.
  • Address all original customer concerns before recommending additional services.
  • Inspect vehicles to identify maintenance needs according to local and factory standards.
  • Participate in factory and in-house training programs to maintain certification and skills.
  • Complete all paperwork accurately and attach required shop forms to repair orders.
  • Arrive on time and prepared to work each day.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Service Manager.
Work Hours

This is a full-time position with standard service department hours. Specific schedule details will be provided during the interview process.

Qualifications
  • Ford Factory Certification is required.
  • ASE Certification is preferred.
  • Experience with warranty and non-warranty inspections, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on Ford and other vehicle makes and models.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to read and understand technical instructions.
  • Good judgment and problem-solving abilities.
  • Valid state driver’s license with a clean driving record.
