TECHNOLOGY INTEGRATION COACH

Interested and qualified individuals are invited to apply for a Technology Integration Coach position. The principal goal of instructional technology in the Dieringer School District is to have a positive impact on student learning by facilitating the integration of instructional technologies in all learning environments. The primary role of the Technology Integration Coach position is to prepare educators and students to be critical consumers and responsible creators of information by championing digital fluency, media literacy, and safe technology use.

Job Duties/Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and support for the integration of instructional technology into classroom curriculum and instruction.
  • Coach teachers in the effective use of technology to enhance student learning and engagement.
  • Collaborate with certificated and classified staff to support teaching, learning, and district technology initiatives.
  • Plan, develop, and deliver professional development opportunities focused on instructional technology integration and best practices.
  • Support implementation of instructional technology funded through district technology initiatives and levies.
  • Assist teachers with lesson planning, curriculum integration, and instructional strategies that incorporate technology standards.
  • Model effective instructional practices through demonstration lessons, co‑teaching, and classroom support.
  • Support the development and implementation of project‑based learning opportunities utilizing technology tools and resources.
  • Coordinate with district technology staff and other Technology Integration Coaches to ensure consistent support and implementation across schools.
  • Assist in curriculum mapping and alignment of instructional technology standards with district curriculum goals.
  • Research, evaluate, and recommend instructional hardware, software, digital resources, and emerging technologies.
  • Support staff in the setup, use, troubleshooting, and maintenance of instructional technology equipment and peripherals.
  • Develop and maintain instructional resources, web pages, and digital materials supporting curriculum and instructional initiatives.
  • Participate in district, local, and regional technology and curriculum committees, initiatives, and professional organizations.
  • Stay current on instructional technology trends, digital learning practices, and educational technology resources.
  • Maintain flexible work hours and schedules as needed to support school and district initiatives, trainings, and events.
  • Foster positive and collaborative working relationships with staff, administrators, students, parents, and community members.
  • Demonstrate professionalism, strong communication skills, organization, and effective problem‑solving abilities.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the district or building administration.
Required Qualifications
  • Valid Washington State teaching certificate issued by the Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI).
  • Minimum of three (3) years of successful certificated teaching experience in a K–12 educational setting, preferred experience at the elementary or K–8 level.
  • Demonstrated experience integrating instructional technology to enhance curriculum, instruction, student engagement, and learning outcomes.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, administrators, and support staff to strengthen instructional practices and technology integration.
  • Experience planning, modeling, coaching, and supporting instructional strategies that integrate technology into classroom instruction.
  • Demonstrated experience designing, facilitating, or supporting professional development and adult learning opportunities for certificated and/or classified staff.
  • Knowledge of curriculum design, instructional practices, assessment, digital citizenship, and technology integration aligned with Washington State learning standards and district instructional goals.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze instructional needs and support implementation of technology tools, digital resources, and instructional practices that improve student learning.
