Schedule: 4:30 am - 3 pm Monday - Thursday
Position Summary:
The Plaster Pit & Demold production worker manufactures molds that will be used to form composite parts, following Standard Work Instructions and production schedules.
Responsibilities include:
- Pour liquid plaster into mandrels to form molds according to Standard Work Instructions.
- De-mold plaster parts and clean to requirements; preparing molds for curing process, light hand sanding, and removing excess plaster from mold and floor.
- Moving molds that are 10 lbs. to 200 lbs., lifting with two-man lift.
- Maintain schedules and time allowances, reporting any discrepancies and scheduling concerns to supervisor.
- Experience with the use of basic hand and power tools.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
While performing typical duties of this job, production employees will experience the conditions noted below. PPE is provided to protect employees against physical harm or hazards in the workplace environment.
- Usually work indoors. These sites may not be temperature controlled.
- Exposure to loud sounds and distracting noise levels.
- Exposure to hazardous equipment.
- Exposure to contaminants.
- Shared work spaces with other employees.
- Requires handling objects of up to 50 lbs.
- Lifting pushing, pulling, and bending.
- Standing and/or walking for 8 to 12 or more hours per day (varies based on role, shift, and overtime).
