- 15 days per year accrued Vacation/Sick time. Accrued time is available to use immediately
$24.48 - $28.88 per hour (includes a 10% differential). Full‑time non‑exempt. Washington law pay guidelines may vary by region.
ScheduleShift: 3:30 PM – 2:00 AM, Monday – Thursday.
PositionThe assembler works according to takt time on a moving line or bench, performing finish assembly processes to mass‑produce commercial aircraft composite products.
Duties- Follow job traveler instructions to assemble parts using small hand tools, bonding adhesives and assembly jigs.
- Hand wrap insulation blankets, using utility knives, foam insulation, and insulation tape.
- Perform light sanding and abrading of composite, plastic, and some metal components.
- May perform some light riveting using rivet squeezes and pop rivet guns.
- Fine hand motor skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Self‑motivated and quick learner.
- Basic math skills.
- Understanding of process specifications.
- Understanding of technology with the ability to learn new platforms and systems.
One year of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities in a manufacturing environment preferred.
Working Conditions- Indoor work, may not be temperature controlled.
- Exposure to loud sounds and distracting noise levels.
- Exposure to hazardous equipment.
- Exposure to contaminants.
- Shared work spaces with other employees.
- Handles objects of up to 50 lb.
- Lifting, pushing, pulling, and bending.
- Standing and/or walking for 8 to 12 or more hours per day (varies by role, shift and overtime).
