** Position Overview
** As a packager, your job will consist of packaging coffee and filling orders according to DCR Coffee quality standards and individual customer specifications, examining and inspecting materials and products to ensure that packing specifications are met. This position requires you to load materials and products into package processing equipment and maintain organization and cleanliness within the department.## Qualifications

* Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

** Label and stage coffee bags for the days production.

Fill bags with appropriate coffee, using a weigh-and-fill machine.

Seal and tape (where applicable) filled coffee bags.

Stage product in its designated area.

Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Assure quality and accuracy of product at all stages of packaging.

Adhere to Dillanos safety rules and guidelines.

Grind coffee using small grinders and industrial grinders.

Flavor coffee using a paddle mixer, as well as bag-flavored coffee using weigh-and-fill.

Assist other departments as necessary.

Operate a standup and sit-down forklift.
** Skills and Physical Demands
** Excellent interpersonal communication skills. Resourceful but knows when to ask for help. Works well within a team but can operate independently as well. Must possess strong organizational skills, problem-solving, & attention to detail. Takes pride in one’s work but is open to feedback and opportunities for growth and improvement. The ability to continually sit, stand, bend, and lift up to 60lbs and comply with Dillanos Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP).
