Pay: $24.48 - $28.88/hour (full time, non-exempt)
Pay includes 10% shift differential
Schedule: 3:00 pm – 1:30 am, Monday

The Laminator performs a variety of techniques to laminate composite components according to drawings and Standard Work Instruction (SWI).
Responsibilities include- Lay-up composite materials on mandrels according to the manufacturing plan and standard work instructions (SWI); wrap mold with composite materials, in preparation for curing process, to form composite parts.
- Check for accuracy in all prior documentation of manufacturing planning, reporting all discrepancies and schedule concerns to the supervisor.
- Verify materials being used are according to manufacturing plan.
- Verify part and sign off on work performed.
- Adhere to schedules and time allowances, takt time, for production requirements.
- Ability to read and understand detailed instructions and follow demonstrated steps.
- Basic understanding of process specifications.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Basic math and computer skills.
- One year of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Experience in composite manufacturing a plus.
While performing typical duties of this job, production employees will experience the conditions noted below. PPE is provided to protect employees against physical harm or hazards in the workplace environment.
- Usually work indoors. These sites may not be temperature controlled.
- Exposure to loud sounds and distracting noise levels.
- Exposure to hazardous equipment.
- Exposure to contaminants.
- Shared work spaces with other employees.
- Requires handling objects of up to 50 lbs.
- Lifting, pushing, pulling, and bending.
- Standing and/or walking for 8 to 12 or more hours per day (varies based on role, shift, and overtime).
Required PPE provided by SEKISUI Aerospace based on the employee’s position and exposure. Below are typical PPE used on the production floor. Appropriate PPE must be worn by all employees when on the production floor.
- Full Face Shield
- Gloves (Latex, Rubber, Chemical Resistant, General Duty)
- Protective Apron
