We are seeking a motivated Laminator (Composite Technician – Level I) to join a growing aerospace manufacturing team in Sumner, WA. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for individuals interested in hands-on manufacturing work within a structured and safety-focused environment.
The Laminator performs a variety of techniques to laminate composite components according to drawings and Standard Work Instructions (SWI). This role is ideal for individuals who are detail-oriented, reliable, and eager to learn skilled manufacturing processes.
Pay & Schedule- Pay: $24.47 per hour
- Shift: Monday–Friday, 2nd Shift
- Hours:
3:00 PM – 1:30 AM - Full-Time Opportunity
- Lay up composite materials on mandrels according to manufacturing plans and SWI instructions
- Wrap molds with composite materials in preparation for curing processes
- Verify accuracy of manufacturing documentation and report discrepancies
- Ensure correct materials are used according to production plans
- Confirm part and sign off on completed work
- Follow production schedules and takt time requirements
- Report schedule concerns, quality issues, or discrepancies to supervisors
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Adhere to all safety and quality standards
- Entry-level position – no prior experience required

This is a semi-skilled, entry-level role that operates under close supervision. Training is provided on the job, and employees will gain competency over time in composite lay-up and manufacturing processes.
Work EnvironmentThis role is based in a structured aerospace manufacturing facility where safety, precision, and quality are top priorities. Team members will work closely with supervisors and production teams to meet daily production goals.
