Pay: $22.25/hour - $26.25/hour, full-time, non-exempt

The Oven Operator runs the ovens used for the curing process of composite manufacturing, according to Standard Work Instructions.

• Verify part and documents, interpret the job traveler to determine recipe to complete cure process before loading parts onto the racks, trays, or carts.
• Meet schedules, time allowances and monitor oven cures frequently to ensure no discrepancies in software program; updating supervisor.
• Decipher parts and quantity requiring additional probes, wires, fixtures, or thermocouple placement before oven cure process.
• Remove probes, wires, fixtures, breakout, and clean all parts prior to distributing them to the next process.

• Advanced math skills.
• Ability to comprehend written instructions.
• Possess analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Intermediate computer skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities in a manufacturing environment.

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.

• While performing typical duties of this job, production employees will experience the conditions noted below. PPE is provided to protect employees against physical harm or hazards in the workplace environment.
  • Usually work indoors. These sites may not be temperature controlled.
  • Exposure to loud sounds and distracting noise levels.
  • Exposure to hazardous equipment.
  • Exposure to contaminants.
  • Shared work spaces with other employees.
  • Requires handing objects of up to 50 lbs.
  • Lifting, pushing, pulling, and bending.
  • Standing and/or walking for 8 to 12 or more hours per day (varies based on role, shift and overtime).
