OPTI STAFFING GROUP – CNC Machinist (Direct Hire) | Sumner, WAWHAT YOU'LL DO:
As a CNC Machinist, you'll set up and operate CNC machines to manufacture precision aerospace components by following blueprints, work instructions, and manufacturing specifications. You'll load and unload parts, monitor machine operations, make basic machine adjustments and offset changes, deburr finished parts, and inspect components to ensure they meet quality and dimensional requirements. You'll also identify and report machine issues, perform routine preventative maintenance, maintain a clean and organized work area, and work closely with your team to safely meet production and quality goals in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

NEED TO HAVE :
To be successful in this role, you should have at least two years of experience operating CNC vertical machining centers, along with experience using vertical and horizontal mills, 4-axis machining, and Fanuc or Okuma controllers. We're looking for someone who understands machining processes, tooling, speeds and feeds, inspection equipment, and quality standards. Experience using precision measuring tools and maintaining your own basic machining tools is a plus.
You should have strong attention to detail, the ability to work safely in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment, and a commitment to producing high‑quality parts while following all safety and quality procedures.
