Responsibilities
Inventory Processes – Works with the Inventory Manager, all other store Inventory Specialists, R&I Leads, Store Management and the Accounting Manager to audit and correct procedural issues that result in inventory discrepancies.
Inventory Maintenance - Researches and manually corrects inconsistencies between the perpetual and actual physical inventories through conducting daily cycle counts, weekly ISP Audit reviews, monthly ISP Audits, daily MOP adjustment reviews, communicating inventory issues with Store Management, and training Team Members on Inventory Maintenance.
Inventory Adjustments – Researches and audits all inventory adjustments to identify count errors and procedural errors. Investigates and determines the “Root-Cause” of the store’s inventory inaccuracies. Enters inventory related adjustments into PIP. Works with Loss Prevention to identify and reduce inventory adjustments related to Theft.
Reports – Work monthly inventory accuracy count sheets and review additional reports to identify inventory discrepancies.
Training – Assist with training store Team Members on inventory management best practices. Provide 1-on-1 training for Team Members on all Inventory processes as issues arise through audits and reports.
Annual Inventory – Assists with the preparation and execution of the annual physical inventory count.
Other Duties- Performs inventory related count requests.
- Fix incorrect location codes that are identified through inventory maintenance.
- Assists customers, as needed, by answering questions and directing them to needed merchandise.
- Backup the R&I Lead position.
- Maintain consistent communication with the R&I Lead.
- Recommends updates to existing or new reports to help improve inventory accuracy.
- Performs other duties as needed.
- Minimum two (2) years retail or inventory control experience preferred.
- Customer service experience preferred.
- Must be self-motivated, detail oriented, organized, and able to multi-task efficiently.
- Must have strong problem solving skills and be able to work well under pressure.
- Good understanding of all processes related to the flow of inventory from Receiving to P.O.S. and back.
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with RF guns preferred.
- Must have proficient computer knowledge including an ability to use computer software such as Eagle Browser and Microsoft Office Programs with an emphasis on Excel.
- Must have the ability to read and write English and have basic math skills.
- Must have the ability to train Team Members to keep inventory accuracies.
- Ability and willingness to work flexible hours, to include weekends, evenings and holidays, as needed.
- Must be dependable. Due to the nature and responsibilities of this position, dependable regular attendance is required.

Pay range – $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
