Description
Schedule:
M-F 8am-4:30pm + Necessary Overtime
Pay: $22.50 per hour

- Operate a lift truck by driving backwards and twisting to look in the direction of travel, continuously.
- Operate a lift truck throughout the shift.
- Perform routine inspections on vehicles and auxiliary equipment (e.g., cleaning, recharging batteries) and refer defects or repairs to supervisor/maintenance.
- Move controls to drive battery-powered lift trucks and transport materials between loading, unloading, processing, and storage areas.
- Move levers and controls that operate lifting devices (forklifts, lift beams, swivel‑hooks, hoists, elevating platforms) to load, unload, transport, and stack material.
- Position lifting devices under, over, or around loaded pallets, skids, and boxes, securing material or products for transport.
- Manually load or unload materials onto or off pallets, skids, platforms, or lifting devices.
- Maintain reliable attendance at scheduled shifts.
- Perform all duties in conformance with safety and security standards.
- Perform all other duties as assigned or needed.
- Unload products from inbound carriers.
- Verify product identification and accurate count upon receipt.
- Inspect condition of all received product.
- Move and place product safely and securely in its proper storage location.
- Receive and read preload orders.
- Accurately pick product from storage and stage that product on a spot utilizing stacking guidelines.
- Inspect and load trucks, arranging products within the trailer cube according to recommended loading practices and guidelines.
- Use scanning device and computer as needed to perform tasks.
- Inspect trailers before loading products.
- Count units on preload spot and compare with shipping documents.
- Move products from the preload spot and directly from storage when required into the trailer.
- Arrange products within the trailer cube according to recommended loading practices and guidelines.
- Properly secure the load for travel.
- Attendance – Ability to work required schedule and arrive on time; willingness to work necessary overtime.
- Communication – Effectively communicate in writing and verbally in a courteous, professional manner; understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
- Mathematics – Perform basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) in all units of measure using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
- Language – Identify and compare letters and numbers; read and interpret documents such as receivers, invoices, operating instructions, and procedure manuals; read and write simple sentences.
- Diversity Oriented – Work effectively with people regardless of age, gender, race, ethnicity, religion, or job type.
- Relationship Building – Establish and maintain effective working relationships with customers, co‑workers, and management.

- Certificates & Licenses – Forklift Certification preferred;
Valid Driver’s License.
