Pay$22.50 per hour

All Material Handlers- Operates a lift truck by driving backwards and twisting to be able to look in the direction of travel on a continual basis.
- Operates a lift truck all shift.
- Performs routine inspections on vehicles and auxiliary equipment, such as cleaning or recharging batteries, and refers defects or repairs to supervisor/maintenance.
- Moves controls to drive battery-powered lift trucks and transports materials between loading, unloading, processing, and storage areas.
- Moves levers and controls that operate lifting devices, such as forklifts, lift beams and swivel-hooks, hoists, and elevating platforms, to load, unload, transport, and stack material.
- Positions lifting devices under, over, or around loaded pallets, skids, and boxes, and secures material or products for transport to designated areas.
- Manually loads or unloads materials onto or off pallets, skids, platforms, or lifting devices.
- Reliable attendance at scheduled shifts.
- Performs all duties in conformance to appropriate safety and security standards.
- Performs all other duties as assigned or needed.
- Unloads products from inbound carriers.
- Verifies that the product received is identified and counted accurately.
- Inspects condition of all received product.
- Moves and places product safely and securely in its proper storage location.
- Receives and reads preload orders.
- Fills orders by accurately picking product from storage and staging that product on a spot utilizing stacking guideline.
- Inspects and loads trucks and arranges the products within the cube of the trailer according to recommended loading practices and guidelines.
- Uses scanning device and computer as needed to perform tasks.
- Inspects trailers before loading products.
- Counts units on preload spot and compares with shipping documents.
- Moves products from the preload spot and directly from storage when required, into the trailer.
- Arranges the products within the cube of the trailer according to recommended loading practices and guidelines.
- Properly secures the load for travel.

- Ability to work required schedule and arrive at work on time, and willingness to work voluntary/mandatory overtime required to meet daily workload. - Communication
- Ability to effectively communicate in writing and verbally in a courteous and professional manner with others, and to understand and follow verbal and written instruction. - Mathematics
- Ability to perform basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division) in all units of measure using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals. - Language – Ability to identify and compare letters and numbers, read and interpret documents such as receivers, invoices, operating instructions and procedure manuals, and read and write simple sentences.

- Education:
High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED), preferred. - Experience:
Two (2) years related experience in warehouse or manufacturing environment, preferred. - Computer
Skills:
Basic computer or tablet skills; hand-held radio. - Certificates & Licenses:
Forklift Certification preferred. Valid Driver’s License.
