Receiver, Warehouse

By operating as a Receiver, you will support the daily requirements of warehouse operations. The receiver/warehouse associate will complete day‑to‑day tasks that keep the inbound side of the warehouse running, including picking, packing, shipping and organizing inventory.

• Unload floor stacked containers and palletize cartons according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
• Visually verify the quantity, part number and overall quality of the cartons/pallet.
• Stage pallets using various pieces of MHE.
• Accurately receive orders into WMS using the system functions provided.
• Generate labels and label completed pallets with license plate locations so they can be put away accurately.
• Assist in the put‑away process to bin locations (rack or bulk).
• Communicate missing product or quality issues to distribution center management.
• QC cartons off a container and verify product is correct internal and external.
• Check product for quality damage.
• Verify product utilizing the appropriate carrier, shipping priority and shipping program (PC).
• Participate in daily cleanups.
• Communicate overages, shortages, and damages to other departments.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 0-3 years of warehouse experience.
• Able to multitask, organize, prioritize and manage time efficiently.
• Proficient verbal and written communication skills.

• Extreme Exposures:
  Works in areas requiring exposure to varying temperatures, extreme heat or cold and damp or drafty conditions.

  Variable schedule; including nights and weekends – occasional overtime may be required.
• Physical Requirements:
  • Heavy – lifting up to 75 lbs; regularly lift objects weighing up to 50 lbs and occasionally move objects that weigh more than 100 lbs with a pallet jack.
  • Regularly required to reach with hands and arms, above and below the shoulders.
  • Regularly required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; must be able to be on feet for majority of shift.
  • Frequently grasps, turns, manipulates objects of varying size and weight that require fine motor skills and hand‑eye coordination.
  • Occasionally required to sit, climb, or balance.
  • Vision requirements include ability to perceive things closely, from a distance, peripherally, depth and ability to adjust and focus – reading and visually verifying information.

The hourly range for this position is $19.74 – $22.77 per hour. The base hourly rate may vary based on experience, role tenure, performance, industry, and location. Eligibility for the annual performance incentive may apply. Jazwares is a multi‑state employer, so the salary range may not apply to other states.
