We are seeking a dependable and experienced
Warehouse Operations Lead
to support daily warehouse and moving operations. This hands‑on role works closely with the General Manager and Operations Manager to help ensure warehouse activities, storage operations, and moving services are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with company standards.

This position combines warehouse operations, forklift operation, and moving industry expertise to support both warehouse storage and household goods transportation activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform hands‑on daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, and distribution of household goods.
• Operate forklifts and material‑handling equipment to move, load, unload, and store storage vaults and household goods within the warehouse.
• Conduct basic safety checks of forklifts and warehouse equipment and report any maintenance or safety concerns.
• Maintain accurate warehouse documentation, inventory records, and operational reports.
• Direct daily work activities related to loading outbound storage shipments.
• Assist with unloading, inventory verification, and vaulting inbound storage shipments.
• Prepare trailers and straight trucks for local and interstate transportation assignments.
• Operate commercial motor vehicles (CMV) when required.
• Provide work direction to household goods crews during local moves, when assigned.
• Serve as a company liaison during customer moves, ensuring professionalism and quality service.
• Perform international packing, wrapping, loading, blocking, and bracing in accordance with shipping standards.
• Complete move‑related paperwork including reweigh documentation and operational reports.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
• Assist with fueling company vehicles when necessary.
• Travel overnight occasionally due to operational needs.
• Perform other duties as needed to support warehouse and moving operations.

Minimum Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of household goods (HHG) warehouse or moving industry experience.
• Previous lead or senior warehouse experience preferred.
• Valid CDL Class A, B, or C with a clean driving record.
• Ability to operate a forklift or obtain forklift certification.
• Knowledge of international packing and cargo handling procedures preferred.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office and internet applications.

Physical Requirements

This position requires the ability to:

• Lift and carry items up to 50 lbs individually.
• Team lift heavier furniture items with assistance or equipment.
• Frequently walk, stand, bend, reach, and climb stairs during the workday.
• Operate forklifts, dollies, and other moving equipment.
• Enter and exit commercial trucks and warehouse equipment.
• Work in warehouse, residential, and outdoor environments with varying temperatures.
• Applicants must be DOT medically qualified and able to perform the physical tasks associated with moving and warehouse operations.
