Distribution Center Lead

Mattress Firm is seeking a Distribution Center Lead to oversee day-to-day warehouse operations that power our nationwide retail and e-commerce network. In this hands-on role, you'll lead a team of associates handling receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping, ensuring accurate, on-time deliveries to stores and customers. You'll monitor inventory, enforce safety and housekeeping standards, and use warehouse systems to track KPIs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the distribution center to support retail and e-commerce orders
• Lead and coach warehouse associates to meet productivity, accuracy, and safety goals
• Coordinate receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping activities
• Monitor inventory accuracy and resolve discrepancies with store and supply chain partners
• Enforce safety, cleanliness, and equipment standards across the facility
• Use WMS and related systems to track workflow, KPIs, and order status
• Assist with scheduling, workload planning, and shift coverage
• Support process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce errors
• Train new team members on procedures, equipment, and safety practices
• Collaborate with transportation and store operations to ensure on-time deliveries
