Admin Spec - A​/W Security (#010033) Ridgeland Correctional Inst, Ridgeland (JASPER) Level 2

• This position is under the direct supervision of the Associate Warder of Operations and performs administrative/clerical duties in a medium/maximum correctional facility.
• Develop and maintain a filing system for all correspondences and memorandums, to include inmate request to staff, and prepare minutes for meetings.
• Maintain a filing system for monthly reports.
• Assist with special projects and compose a wide variety of documents.
• Performs other administrative duties as required by the Associate Warden of Operations and the Major of Security.
• Serves as back-up to counsel substitute for disciplinary hearings.

Must successfully complete four (4) weeks of SCDC Basic Training upon hire.

• A high School diploma. Related clerical experience may be substituted for a high school diploma.

• A high school diploma and related clerical experience.
