• Equipment Operation
  :
  Safely and efficiently operate heavy machinery such as excavators, bulldozers, backhoes, loaders, graders, trenchers, and scrapers.
• Site Preparation
  :
  Excavate, grade, and level earth to precise specifications using blueprints, grade stakes, and GPS leveling systems.
• Material Handling
  :
  Load, move, and unload heavy materials such as dirt, rock, gravel, concrete, and construction debris.
• Routine Maintenance
  :
  Perform daily pre-trip inspections, check fluid levels, grease moving parts, and report any mechanical issues or damage to the maintenance team.
• Safety & Compliance
  :
  Strictly follow OSHA regulations, site safety rules, and hand signals from ground crew members.

• Equipment Proficiency
  :
  Hands-on experience with multiple types of machinery and deep understanding of capabilities and limitations.
• Spatial Awareness & Coordination
  :
  Excellent hand-eye-foot coordination to maneuver large equipment in tight spaces around ground crews and utility lines.
• Technical Literacy
  :
  Ability to read and interpret blueprints, grade stakes, site maps, and use modern GPS-guided equipment controls.
• Physical Stamina
  :
  Ability to work long hours in varying weather conditions (heat, cold, rain) and endure constant bouncing or vibration from the machinery.

This is a field-based role. Operators spend their days on active construction sites, highway projects, quarries, or landfills. The job involves high noise levels, dust, and close collaboration with a team of site supervisors, surveyors, and ground laborers.
