WYFF 4 , the NBC/CBS affiliate in Greenville, SC, has an opening for an experienced and dynamic Newscast Director
. The Newscast Director communicates and executes all technical aspects of live production with the technical staff, including the producer, technical director, audio operator, studio team and engineering.

• Direct broadcast newscasts.
• Provide creative input while working with the newscast producer and production crew.
• Ensure clean technical execution of the overall look of the newscast.
• Call and punch newscasts.
• Post content to the station website as needed.

• Two or more years of experience directing and technical directing newscasts.
• Experience with production switchers, video servers, audio equipment and studio equipment.
• Understanding of MOS and basic computer networking.
• Understanding of newsroom systems, including ENPS and video playback systems.
• Technical ability to resolve existing issues and work around problems that arise during live news.
• Ability to work flexible hours and shifts, including holidays and weekends.
• Related military experience will be considered.
