Certified TeacherApplication Requirements
Required documents must be scanned and uploaded in APPLITRACK. Your application must be complete for review. Must be eligible for a South Carolina Teaching Certificate athttps://ed.sc.gov/educators/teaching-in-south-carolina/.

- Valid teaching certificate (SC or Out of State) or passing exam scores
- Three confidential references posted:
- New graduates – reference from cooperating teacher & supervising professor
- Experienced teachers – reference from most recent supervisor
- Negative TB test result less than 1 year old – upload if available or provide statement at new hire orientation.
- Current OCSD employees may upload statement: "I am currently employed with OCSD. TB Test is on file."
- TB test result must be submitted at new hire orientation (no exceptions).
