Brockington Elementary Magnet School – 2026‑2027 school year.

190‑day position. Base salary $20,932. Instructional Support – Non‑Certified/Teacher Assistant.

Brockington Elementary Magnet School.

Principal.

• Minimum of 60 academic credit hours from an accredited institution of higher education OR an associate degree or higher.
• OR:
  Item (1) High School Diploma or equivalent AND Item (2) Ready to Work Credentials.
• WIN Assessment Level 3 certification OR Para Pro score of at least 456.
• Negative TB test result required prior to starting work.

• Provide classroom teaching assistance.
• Provide supervision of students at all times.
• Provide students with daily care (e.g., toileting, diapering, feeding) as needed or required.
• Adhere to district dress code policies.
• Maintain required confidentiality regarding students and school records.
• Support all facets of student growth and development positively.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of fifty pounds.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Applicants must submit a classified employment application, three classified employment references, and a copy of qualifying credentials (degree transcript or high school diploma plus WIN or Parapro). DCSD employees must also submit a Request to Interview for Transfer form.
