Bachelor's degree or above. Must have a valid South Carolina teacher's certificate. Candidates with a valid Statement of Eligibility from a state‑approved alternative certification program are also encouraged to apply. Such alternatives to the above qualifications may be considered appropriate and acceptable by the Board.

Schedule

3 DAYS A WEEK – MORNING HOURS – TUESDAY THROUGH THURSDAY (7:45 AM – 11:45 AM)

Performance Responsibilities

Meet and instruct assigned classes in the designated locations and times.

Plan a program of study that meets the individual needs, interests, and abilities of the students and state standards in the subject area.

Establish clear objectives for all classroom activities and communicate these objectives to students.

Employ a variety of instructional techniques and media consistent with the physical limitations of the location and the needs and capabilities of the individual or student groups involved.

Utilize effective classroom management strategies to create a learning environment that is conducive to learning and developmentally appropriate for students.

Strive to implement by instruction and action the District's philosophy of education and instructional goals and objectives.

Takes all necessary and reasonable precautions to protect students, equipment, materials, and facilities.

Maintains accurate, complete, and correct records as required by law, District policy, and administrative regulation.

Performs all other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
