HyFlex Student Assistant
Position Summary:
The Center for Academic Innovation and Faculty Support seeks a highly motivated, detail-oriented student to assist faculty in hybrid (HyFlex) classroom settings. The role involves technology support, document management, and class session facilitation.
- Participate in training to use relevant software.
- Assist faculty with technology in the classroom.
- Upload and deploy documents and Power Points in Zoom and Teams.
- Monitor chat for questions and concerns during class sessions.
- Organize and manage breakout groups.
- Create and manage polls.
- Complete other duties as needed.
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled student at USC Upstate. Federal Work Study students are preferred.
- Excellent listening, written communication, grammar, and proofreading skills.
- Willingness and ability to work in web-based applications.
- Willingness and ability to work independently with direction.
- Willingness to ask for guidance when needed.
- Ability to multitask.
Personal integrity is essential. The position requires maintaining confidentiality in a professional environment.
