Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher. Must hold a valid South Carolina teacher’s certificate. Candidates with a valid Statement of Eligibility from a state‑approved alternative certification program are also encouraged to apply. The Board may accept alternatives deemed appropriate.

Schedule

3 days a week, morning hours, Tuesday through Thursday (7:45 AM – 11:45 AM).

Performance Responsibilities

Meet and instruct assigned classes in designated locations and times.

Plan a program of study meeting students’ needs, interests, abilities and state standards.

Establish clear objectives for all classroom activities and communicate them to students.

Employ a variety of instructional techniques and media consistent with the location’s physical limitations and the needs and capabilities of students.

Use effective classroom‑management strategies to create a conducive learning environment appropriate for developing students.

Strive to implement the District’s philosophy of education and instructional goals and objectives by instruction and action.

Take all necessary precautions to protect students, equipment, materials, and facilities.

Maintain accurate, complete, and correct records as required by law, district policy, and administrative regulation.

Perform all other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
