Job Responsibilities
Teach assigned physics courses (e.g., College Physics, General Physics, Conceptual Physics, or Physics with Lab) in accordance with approved course outlines and learning objectives.
- Teach assigned physics courses (e.g., College Physics, General Physics, Conceptual Physics, or Physics with Lab) in accordance with approved course outlines and learning objectives.
- Assess student learning through exams, quizzes, labs, homework, and other assignments; provide timely and constructive feedback.
- Maintain accurate academic records, including attendance and grades, in compliance with college policies.
- Adhere to college policies related to instruction, assessment, academic integrity, and student conduct.
Master's degree in physics or a closely related field OR Master's degree in a related discipline with at least 18 graduate credit hours in Physics.
Preferred QualificationsMaster's degree in physics or a closely related field OR Master's degree in a related discipline with at least 18 graduate credit hours in Physics. Previous teaching experience at a community college, Experience teaching physics laboratories.
