Staff RF Design Engineer – West Union, SC Manufacturing Plant

In this role, you will design, modify, and manage activities for a specific product or group of products from product definition and planning through production and release. You will serve as the central resource with design, process, manufacturing, test, quality and marketing teams throughout all product life‑cycle stages.

• Develop new products, support existing products and improve processes related to RF and communication design.
• Lead RF circuit design from concept to production for low‑cost wireless communications product lines, including complete radio transceiver design and layout (RF pA, LNA, RF filters and matching, synthesizers, VCOs and mixers).
• Conduct RF circuit measurements using laboratory spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, network analyzers and other equipment.
• Verify that designs meet requirements through analysis, simulation and measurement; compare results to theory and document findings.
• Carry out field studies and system test activities.
• Provide design and project support in areas of project leadership, regulation, reliability, and component selection.
• Provide technical support to factory, service and other internal departments.
• Coordinate and verify the work of support staff (technicians and CAD designers).
• Lead projects.

• Minimum 7 years of related industrial experience.
• In‑depth understanding of electronic circuits, RF circuits and microwave theory.
• Strong grasp of RF systems and wireless communication systems.
• Experience with FCC certification.
• Advanced modeling and simulation skills.
• Knowledge of communication theory and digital signal processing is a plus.
