Electrical Engineer ; Hybrid in Oak Brook

Job Responsibilities

• Analyze and simulate electrical circuits using Multisim.
• Design electrical circuits and PCBs using Altium Designer.
• Test and troubleshoot electrical circuits with power supplies, signal generators, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and network analyzers.
• Build prototype electrical circuits using soldering and basic project‑management skills.
• Write technical documentation such as specifications and test reports to support project deliverables.
• Comply with the security requirements set by the Information Security team and ISO
  27001 standards as documented in the ISMS Library.
• Adhere to health and safety guidelines and ensure compliance across teams.
• Protect Chamberlain Group’s reputation by maintaining information confidentiality.
• Maintain professional knowledge by attending workshops, reading publications, building networks, and participating in professional societies.
• Contribute to the team effort by achieving related results and participating on projects as required.

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Advanced degree may substitute for up to two years of experience.
• Minimum 3 years of job‑related experience as defined in the Essential Duties and Responsibilities.
• Ability to travel up to 10% domestically and internationally.
• Determine own work priorities and timelines, integrating with team schedules under manager oversight.
• Design and implement new programs, services, or approaches.
• Gather information independently and make judgments or recommendations.
• Establish working relationships beyond own area of expertise.
• Build alignment for complex decisions and solutions among stakeholders.

• Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification, or commitment to obtain certification within two years of hire.
• Experience with electrical components, switch‑mode power supplies, power‑management circuits, motor‑control circuits, analog circuits, and RF impedance matching; and experience with Wi‑Fi or Bluetooth.
• Ability to analyze and simulate RF circuits and structures using Ansys HFSS.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally to create electro‑mechanical products, strong analytical skills, effective communication, and multi‑tasking in a fast‑paced environment.

The pay range for this position is $76,600.00 - $; base pay offered may vary depending on a number of factors including, but not limited to, the position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience. In addition to base pay, a comprehensive benefits package and 401(k) contribution are offered (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). This position is eligible for participation in a short‑term incentive plan subject to the terms of the applicable plans and policies.
