Engineering Summer Internship – Engineering Intern
Location:
Goose Creek, South Carolina.
Internship period: 10 consecutive weeks during the summer, working 40 hours per week.
ResponsibilitiesInterns will assist with assignments related to their engineering major, gaining hands‑on experience in technical projects and working alongside experienced engineers. They may work on projects across electrical, industrial, mechanical, nuclear, systems, structural, civil, and computer engineering disciplines.
Required Qualifications- Enrolled in a four‑year bachelor’s or master’s program (or equivalent 2+2 program) for Fall
2026. - Engineering major that is ABET accredited.
- Unwritten transcripts (unofficial) available at time of application.
- Cumulative GPA of 2.5 or greater.
- Ability to physically access work sites, including ships under construction or overhaul, and use ladders, stoop, kneel, etc.
- Student majoring in Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical, Nuclear, Systems, Structural, Civil, Computer Engineering, or related fields.
