Design foundry tooling in Creo software using standards in place and best practices for No-bake molding process with the objective to improve quality and reduce lead time on tooling construction

• RFQ tooling, Design New Pattern Tooling, resolve casting issues, Re-gate, Simulate, all other tasks as needed.
• Foundry Engineer Experience
  - Tools Quotation, Casting Scrap defects analysis & resolution, Foundry process knowledge, no-bake process, cold box process
• Foundry tooling Design Experience
  - Pattern and core boxes, Complex modeling, intuitive knowledge of P/L, offsets, clearances, layout in tool build, no-bake process, cold box process
• Creo modeling and flow simulation analysis using Solid Cast

• Associate’s OR Bachelor's degree with 5 years’ relevant experience.

• Strong CAD skills (Creo prefers).
• Machining print reading and geometric tolerance understanding
• Casting simulation experiences (Solid Cast prefers)

• CNC milling knowledge

• Able to work with and direct suppliers on Tooling Build Projects
• Communicate and work well with all levels of the facility.
