We are seeking a Control Systems Engineer to support the design, development, implementation, and commissioning of industrial automation and control systems for large‑scale engineering and construction projects. This role is responsible for delivering reliable control system solutions that meet client requirements, industry standards, and project objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop control systems for industrial facilities, including DCS, PLC, SCADA, and HMI platforms.
- Prepare control narratives, logic diagrams, instrument specifications, I/O lists, and system architecture drawings.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to integrate control systems into overall plant design.
- Support system testing, factory acceptance testing (FAT), site acceptance testing (SAT), startup, and commissioning activities.
- Troubleshoot control system issues and provide technical support throughout project execution.
- Ensure compliance with client specifications, industry standards, safety requirements, and Fluor quality procedures.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Experience with industrial control systems such as Emerson DeltaV, Honeywell, Yokogawa, Siemens, Allen‑Bradley, or Schneider Electric platforms.
- Knowledge of instrumentation, process control principles, networking, and automation system design.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team‑oriented project environment.
- Experience supporting EPC projects in oil & gas, chemicals, mining, power, or manufacturing industries.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or Engineer‑in‑Training (EIT) certification preferred.
- Experience with commissioning and startup activities in industrial facilities.
