You will conduct complex examinations of Corporate, Fiduciary, and Partnership tax returns. You will proactively identify and resolve discrepancies, educate taxpayers, and provide exceptional customer service contributing to taxpayer compliance.
PrimaryJob Duties
- Review C and S Corporations, Electric Co‑Operatives, Public Utility, Bank, Savings & Loan, Partnership, Eleemosynary, and Fiduciary tax returns for accuracy and compliance with SC laws
- Examine refund claims, carry‑forwards, extensions, return amendments, and tax or license fee computations
- Provide professional customer service to taxpayers and other departments via phone, email, and written correspondence
- Analyze accounts, annotate updates, and resolve balance due or payment discrepancies
- Conduct withholding verification and tax credit reviews
- Academic degrees must be from an accredited institution of higher learning
- Twelve semester hours in accounting, audit, or other business‑related subjects
- Basic knowledge of SC tax laws and forms and online computer systems

- Hours: Flexible hours may be available from 8:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m., Monday–Friday (37.5 hours per week).
