Director of Strategic Finance (Group Finance Director) – Team Fusion (Mid-West Group)

Illinois, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Michigan, Ohio, or Indiana region (up to 25% travel)

Key Responsibilities
  • Guide capital allocation decisions (labor, clinic buildouts, multimillion-dollar investments, compensation models)
  • Support M&A, divestitures, and growth-related financial assessments
  • Drive annual budgeting and multi-year forecasting, ensuring alignment with long-term strategy
  • Provide financial planning and decision support across 400 clinics, labs, and enterprise functions
  • Collaborate with clinical and operational leaders to improve key performance metrics and drive growth
  • Bridge finance with strategy and operations, ensuring execution and accountability
  • Present recommendations to senior leadership, influencing enterprise-level decisions
  • Serve as a trusted thought partner to divisional leadership and the C‑Suite
  • Communicate complex financial insights with clarity, tailoring messages to diverse stakeholders
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of financial managers and analysts, stabilizing and growing talent pipelines
  • Build a culture of excellence, belonging, and professional growth
  • Serve as a feeder role into senior finance or operational leadership across Da Vita
  • Partner with the Director of Strategy on analyses to accelerate revenue growth and profitability
  • Chair the Team Titan Capital Committee, shaping clinic expansions and new investments
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely, high-quality outcomes
Candidate Profile
  • Hybrid background: finance/analytics foundation with strategy/consulting exposure
  • People leadership: demonstrated success in stabilizing, retaining, and developing high-performing teams
  • Communication: high EQ with strong executive presence and ability to lead seasoned teams
  • Education & experience:

    bachelor’s degree; 5+ years post‑graduate experience in corporate FP&A, investment banking, private equity, corporate development (M&A) or strategy consulting
  • Advanced quantitative modeling, valuation analyses, operations analytics; familiarity with Anaplan, Hyperion Essbase, Smartsheet, SQL is advantageous
  • Orientation: growth-focused, able to drive top-line strategy, not solely cost control
  • Diversity in leadership desired; proven ability to foster inclusive high-performing cultures
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5+ years post‑graduate experience in corporate FP&A, investment banking, private equity, corporate development (M&A) or strategy consulting
  • Demonstrable knowledge of financial statements and their relationships to business operations
  • Proven experience with quantitative modeling and analytical methods: financial forecasting, valuation analyses, operations analytics
Preferred Qualifications
  • MBA
  • Superior judgment, decision-making, and communication skills
  • Healthcare industry experience and/or multi-site operations experience
  • Familiarity with financial planning and accounting database systems such as Anaplan, Hyperion Essbase, Smartsheet, or SQL

Salary Range

$129,000–$205,000 per year
