We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Data Quality Manager based in Greenville, South Carolina. As a Data Quality Manager, you will be instrumental in preserving the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of data across the organization. You will be responsible for devising data quality strategies, collaborating with various teams to identify and rectify data quality issues, and ensuring the highest standards of data governance are adhered to.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement data quality standards, metrics, and best practices across the organization.

• Lead data quality initiatives, such as data profiling, cleansing, validation, and enrichment activities.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify data quality issues, analyze root causes, and implement corrective actions.

• Establish and maintain data governance policies and procedures to ensure data consistency and accuracy.

• Monitor data quality performance metrics and provide regular reports.

• Serve as the primary point of contact for data quality-related inquiries and issues.

• Support a team of data analysts, providing guidance and support to ensure effective execution of data quality initiatives.

• Stay updated on industry best practices, tools, and technologies related to data quality management.

• Utilize data quality tools (e.g., Informatica, Talend, Trillium) and SQL to manage data.

• Proven experience in a Data Quality Manager role at an enterprise level

• Extensive knowledge and understanding of data quality, data management, and data governance

• Proficiency in SQL, with the ability to write and optimize complex queries

• Ability to develop and implement data quality standards and procedures

• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze and interpret large datasets

• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify data quality issues and propose solutions

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to clearly articulate complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field

• Relevant professional certifications in data management or data governance would be advantageous.
