OverviewThis position is pending contract award.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement processes for proactive monitoring, maintenance, and issue resolution to enhance system performance and reliability.
- Perform administrative tasks involving TTC server and client hardware, software, applications, and configurations.
- Ensure the Trusted Thin Client system is operating efficiently and securely, contributing directly to mission‑critical operations.
- Implement network security protocols and enforce cybersecurity best practices to safeguard sensitive information.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, providing immediate and sustainable solutions for the TTC system.
- Coordinate with cross‑functional teams to drive collaboration and integration of TTC systems across broader operational initiatives.
- Design, write, modify, and implement software programs/applications;
- Develop "glue‑ware" to support operational client applications and security patches;
- Provide Tier 2 technical support;
- Install, configure, operate, manage, troubleshoot, repair, upgrade, inspect and maintain server systems (physical and virtual), including administration of core and functional services;
- Manage and administer user accounts, profiles and access;
- Provide desktop, server and software application integration support;
- Operate and maintain monitoring and analysis tools; and detect, analyze and resolve platform, infrastructure and system problems;
- Monitor and control system performance, utilization and capacity to ensure optimal performance, availability, serviceability and recoverability; and report any vulnerabilities or deficiencies to government technical representatives;
- Evaluate current architecture, research current technologies/solutions; and provide systems hardware/software upgrade and replacement recommendations for end‑of‑life/end‑of‑support COTS products to government technical representatives;
- Support Cross Domain Solutions as required;
- As required, contractor shall coordinate with Forcepoint to perform Quarterly TTC Health Assessments (billed as an Other Direct Cost) to analyze overall health, operational capability and capacity of TTC infrastructure and services; and recommend;
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders at various levels to provide updates, resolve issues, and drive system improvements.
- Other duties as required.
- Active, in‑scope US Government issued Secret clearance.
- Due to the nature of the work and contract requirements,
US Citizenship is required. - DoDM 8140 IAT Level 2 (Security+) or higher; and Citrix Certified Associate Virtualization (CCAV) or Citrix Certified Associate Networking (CCAN), or equivalent certification; and Raytheon Trusted Computer Solutions Trusted Thin Client Administrator Training Course completed.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, Computer Engineering or related field, and 4 years software development / engineering experience; or Associate's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, Computer Engineering or related field, and 6 years software development/engineering experience; or 8 years software development/engineering experience.
