Plant Systems IT Technician

The Plant IT Technician is responsible for installing and supporting IT hardware, software, and network infrastructure at the Oconee manufacturing facility in West Union, SC. The position requires occasional travel to support remote sites. The technician will troubleshoot IT issues, configure and deploy hardware, and manage SLAs in Service Now. The role requires a strong understanding of PCs, software installation, and network administration.

Bachelor's Degree preferred, plus at least 1 year of professional IT Technical support experience. 2-year degree and at least 2 years of experience OR 4 years of equivalent experience in combination of education and experience. Network+, Security+, MCSE, CCNA, A+ certifications desirable. Solid understanding of PCs, software installation, Intune AD, Azure. Experience configuring / troubleshooting issues / and deploying IT hardware, such as printers, PCs, thin clients, scan guns, and/or radio frequency (RF) devices.

Understanding of networks and administration with knowledge of Access Points, Switches, VOIP, TCPIP, DHCP, DNS. Experience with inventory, asset management, and CMDB a plus. Solid analytical and critical thinking skills with strong written and verbal communications skills. Demonstrates a proactive approach to problem-solving. Self-motivated, consistently seeking out new challenges and opportunities for growth. Demonstrated track record of strong initiative and producing results.
