IT Support Technician

We are seeking a highly qualified IT Support Technician.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- Provide support services for a wide range of IT and AV issues, interpreting policies, standards, and guidelines; conducting analyses; recommending resolutions for complex issues; testing and optimizing system and network functionalities; and evaluating new approaches.
- Define business or technical requirements for system design, development, and support; prepare reports; represent the organization; and provide technical leadership.
- Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on IT and AV equipment.
- Install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain hardware and software to ensure system availability and functionality. Control application versions and document system configurations. Optimize system performance and recover failed systems.
- Provide customer support, troubleshoot complex problems, and minimize business interruptions.
- Monitor network and system availability, participate in testing and upgrades, and assist users with system use.
- Exercise judgment to identify problems, evaluate data, and determine appropriate actions to ensure system interoperability and functionality.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a relevant field
- 4+ years of experience in IT support/helpdesk
- Active Secret Clearance
- Active CompTIA A+ certification
