About the OpportunityND3 Inc. is seeking two (2) experienced Air and Missile Defense (AMD) planners to support the USARCENT G39 section at Shaw AFB, SC. These roles provide a dynamic Air Defense planning capability in a complex, multi-national environment, responsible for synchronizing air defense across the operational theater to maximize combat power and achieve the commander’s intent. If you are an experienced AMD professional with deliberate and dynamic planning expertise, a strong understanding of joint air defense systems, and the ability to synchronize effects across a complex operational environment — this role is for you.
Note:
This position requires U.S. Citizenship and an active Secret security clearance as a condition of employment. This is a federal contract requirement and is non-negotiable.
G39 AMD Operations Planners perform detailed dynamic and deliberate fires planning in support of USARCENT’s operational and tactical objectives. Planners continuously analyze the operational environment, develop air defense COAs and operational plans, and integrate AMD capabilities across all war fighting functions. This is a 100% on-site position at Shaw AFB, SC. Openings: 2 | Contract Start: 30 March 2026.
Key Responsibilities- Perform detailed dynamic and deliberate fires planning and execution.
- Analyze Operational Orders (OPORDs), messages, and intelligence to drive and develop fire support tasks.
- Conduct continuous assessment of the operational environment, including friendly forces and enemy activities, to adapt strategies as needed.
- Conduct long‑term planning, lead mission analysis and develop concepts into actionable operations.
- Integrate and synchronize with all war fighting functions. Coordinate with intelligence sections. Knowledgeable in basic, intermediate and advanced air defense planning processes and procedures.
- Plan and deliver dynamic air defense support using a variety of weapon systems, developing detailed operational plans to support defense mission and ensuring alignment with Commanders Intent.
- Develop briefings and Course of Action analysis to facilitate decision‑making; prepare After Action Reviews to ensure goals and objectives are met.
- Participate in and provide expertise to Joint Theater Air Missile Defense Board meetings, working groups, and other planning sessions. Work closely with staff and senior level commands Service Components to synchronize efforts to ensure plans and logistical requirements are executable.
- Develop an integrated air defense support plan to the common operating picture.
- Develop an understanding of USARCENT standard AMD products, charts, and briefings, including production, Quality Control reviews and presentation of AMD products.
- Support the production of AMD products for ARCENT G39 AMD.
- Demonstrated experience in dynamic and deliberate planning, technical expertise, operational experience, and strategic insight in an operational environment.
- Understanding of force packaging, force monitoring and combat assessment.
- Knowledge of air defense and the knowledge of various air defense weapons.
- Must possess and maintain an active SECRET clearance.
- Prior USARCENT / CENTCOM / ASCC staff experience or equivalent operational‑level experience.
- Experience working in joint/interagency/multinational environments.
- Ability to operate in high‑tempo environments.
Pay: $1.00 - $10.00 per year
