The SIGINT/ELINT Analyst provides expert analytic support to 9 AF (USAFCENT). Provides operational summaries of adversary air/air defense activities for 9 AF (USAFCENT) to distribute to national, tactical and strategic customers. Attends information, collaboration, and intelligence meetings including VTC/Telecons as required and prepares/presents PowerPoint presentations as tasked. Ensures all intelligence data is properly disseminated using existing Knowledge Management practices, throughout (CJTF-OIR) and national level agencies throughout the CJOA.
Assists with resolution on difficult and complex analytical problems by researching, developing and producing at the operational and strategic levels to leadership.
- Performs daily reviews and analysis of national/tactical SIGINT technical reports.
- Drafts daily/weekly operational summaries of adversary air/air defense activities for 9 AF (USAFCENT) to distribute to national, tactical and strategic customers.
- Attends information, collaboration, and intelligence meetings including VTC/Telecons as required and prepares/presents PowerPoint presentations as tasked. Ad Hoc/anticipated deliverables in coordination with the Government Lead and the COR:
Meeting notes/summaries, Pre and/or post meeting briefings. - Throughout the CJOA. Publish reports and disseminates via email, web portals, or other appropriate methods as tasked. Ad Hoc/anticipated deliverables in coordination with the Government Lead and the COR:
Production Statistics, Briefings, Tipper Reports, PowerPoint presentations, and Pre/Post Strike Reflections. - Assists with resolution on difficult and complex analytical problems by researching, developing and producing at the operational and strategic levels to leadership. PowerPoint presentations, summary of findings, and trend analysis. - Reviews SIGINT products and threat analyses to 9 AF (USAFCENT) for release to the warfighter at the lowest possible classification level.
- Supports assessments for contingency planning as required. Ad Hoc/anticipated deliverables in coordination with the Government Lead and the COR:
Production Statistics, PowerPoint Briefings, Tipper Reports, and Pre/Post Strike Reflections. - Performs daily reviews and analysis of all-source reporting.
- Assists in development and review of CFACC’s prioritized intelligence requirements and corresponding intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance collection requirements in support of current operations and contingency planning.
- Provides expert analytic support to 9 AF (USAFCENT) planning, authoring and reviewing prioritized intelligence and production requirements, intelligence estimates, and annexes and appendices.
- As directed, leverages all formal and informal analytic exchanges, as well as training opportunities, in order to foster peer-to-peer collaboration, ensure thorough vetting of products, and deliberately pursue/maintain acuity on essential elements of tradecraft.
- Minimum of five (5) years as an ELINT/SIGINT analyst
- At least four (4) years’ analytical experience at the tactical/operational level within DoD or equivalent Government agencies
- Former MOS 35F, 350F, 18F, 35D, 34A, or equivalent such as USMC – 0204, 0210, 0211 - Counterintelligence/Human Intelligence (CI/HUMINT) Specialist, 0231 Intelligence Specialist, U.S. Navy Intelligence Specialist, USAF –1N7X1 Human Intelligence Specialist, 1N4X1 Intelligence Fusion Analyst, 1N0X1 All Source Intelligence Analyst
- Proficient in utilizing standard computer applications and intelligence related automation to support analytical efforts and product development
- Be capable of effectively operating as a member of an analytical team in support of CJOA requirements
- Be able to travel to CJOA in order to provide/receive training
- Briefing skills to include the ability to clearly articulate information
- Must possess a valid US passport
- TS/SCI current clearance
