Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations Management, or a related discipline.

  • Minimum of 5-8 years of progressive experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, Material Flow Planning, Manufacturing Operations, or JIT/JIS Process Management within the automotive industry.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and implementing JIT/JIS logistics processes supporting automotive manufacturing operations.
  • Proven success managing complex supplier networks and coordinating inbound material flow from supplier facilities to production lines.
  • Experience supporting new product launches, production ramp-ups, and SOP readiness activities.
  • Experience managing supplier selection, equipment sourcing, implementation planning, and project execution.
  • Experience conducting process audits and driving corrective actions.
  • Strong understanding of automotive quality systems, compliance standards, and operational requirements.
  • Must be US Citizen or Authorized to Work in the United States.

  • Monitor and analyze supply chain performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods and services.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients and suppliers to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and developments to identify potential opportunities and risks.
  • Train and mentor junior team members to ensure a high level of performance and growth within the team.
  • Lead the design and implementation of next-generation JIT/JIS logistics systems.
  • Influence logistics strategy from supplier origin through final assembly.
  • Collaborate with leading automotive suppliers and manufacturing teams.
  • Drive process innovation, automation, and operational excellence.
  • Play a key role in new product launches and production readiness initiatives.
  • Partner with executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to shape logistics operations from the ground up.
  • Contribute to building a world-class automotive manufacturing organization.
