Tire and Battery Service Advisor

Maintain facility and sales floor safety, oversee Tire and Battery Center (TBC) operations, provide member service, drive sales, prioritize service workflow, and ensure compliance with safety and company policies.

• Conduct safety sweeps, enforce forklift and hazardous material handling, and maintain safety standards per company policies.
• Organize, stock, zone, and merchandize the TBC sales floor according to company guidelines, including handling claims, returns, shrink, and damages.
• Stock merchandise, set up displays, clean, and maintain product presentation; sign and price items, and secure fragile/high‑shrink products.
• Monitor tire and battery order status, assist members with appointment scheduling, communicate lead‑time changes, and provide alternative solutions.
• Provide expert member service: greet members, assess needs, recommend suitable tire and battery products, explain warranties, and deliver high‑value service.
• Promote TBC offerings across the club to increase member awareness and drive sales and service excellence.
• Prioritize and triage service workflow in the TBC service bays, determining time requirements, and coordinate with team leads and technicians.
• Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of safety, compliance, industry guidelines, equipment operations, TPMS, product specs, seasonality, POS systems, and sales techniques.
• Utilize digital tools and handheld devices to plan sales, improve the service experience, and support real‑time decision making.
• Advise and mentor team members, enhance the member experience, and support training initiatives.
• Operate TBC equipment safely, process member purchases, handle payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges following procedures.
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with company policies, ethics, and integrity standards.
• Collaborate with managers, co‑workers, and business partners to prioritize assignments, identify improvement opportunities, and adapt to change.
• Model integrity, customer focus, teamwork, and a commitment to excellence in all interactions.

Minimum Qualifications

• Valid state‑issued driver’s license.
• At least 18 years of age.

• Experience in auto service industry.
• Retail experience.

Hourly wage range: $19.00 to $27.00.

Additional premiums may be paid from $0.35 to $3.00 per hour, depending on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed.
