Performance Responsibilities:

Examines school grounds, including athletic facilities, regularly for needed improvements.

Remains current on issues and best practices related to ground maintenance.

Attends all required training sessions.

Operates various types of lawn machinery safely and productively; performs low-level maintenance as needed.

Trains new grounds staff on safe and effective machinery use.

Works outdoors for eight hours a day (schedule flexible as required) and can lift 50 pounds regularly.

Terms: 233 days.

Evaluation: Performance will be evaluated in accordance with Sumter School District policies.
