We are hiring a full-time (40 hours weekly), exempt Fire Logistics Support Manager. The purpose of this position is to independently develops maintenance schedules, oversees procurement processes, coordinates staff assignments, and implements compliance programs for fleet and equipment services.
Projected Salary Range/Pay Grade 119:$63,308.59 - $75,969.60, salary is determined based on qualifications.
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 am
-5:00 pm. Schedule may vary based on operational needs.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supervises, directs, and evaluates assigned staff, processing employee concerns and problems, directing work, counseling, disciplining, and completing employee performance appraisals.
- Coordinates, assigns and reviews work and establishes work schedules; maintains standards; monitors status of work in progress; inspects completed work assignments; answers questions; gives advice and direction as needed.
- Supervises maintenance and logistics personnel to ensure safe, efficient, and timely completion of fleet and equipment maintenance.
- Coordinates equipment and apparatus maintenance programs to maintain readiness and compliance with NFPA and manufacturer standards.
- Coordinates procurement and vendor management for apparatus, equipment, parts, and services.
- Develops and manages maintenance schedules and lifecycle plans to minimize downtime and extend asset life.
- Monitors budgets, inventory, and operational reports to support informed decision making and resource allocation.
- Ensures regulatory compliance with NFPA, OSHA, and safety standards across all equipment and fleet operations.
- Collaborates with operations divisions and fire departments to address equipment needs and operational priorities.
- Performs related work as assigned.
Minimum
Education and Experience:
- Requires an Associates Degree and/or experience in specialized courses in the fire service operations, fleet maintenance, logistics, capital planning or similar discipline.
- 5 years of fleet operations and/or maintenance or related experience.
- An equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered.
Certifications and Licenses:
- Must possess and maintain a valid state driver’s license with an acceptable driving history.
- Fire Apparatus or EVT certifications.
- OSHA or safety related training.
