The South Carolina Department of Motor Vehicles seeks a Procurement Manager I / Contract Manager to supervise contract management staff, oversee contract compliance, and manage the Contracts Management System. Based in Blythewood, SC, this role involves developing sourcing strategies, negotiating contracts, coordinating with internal divisions and external stakeholders, and supporting the procurement process across the agency.
Key qualifications:- Bachelor's degree with relevant program experience in contract administration or procurement
- In-depth knowledge of contract administration principles, legal terminology, and procurement practices
- Experience with SAP, SCEIS, or similar purchasing systems
- Excellent verbal and written communication, organizational, and analytical skills
- Proven experience as a Contract Manager in a government agency or large organization (preferred)
