- South Carolina Position Summary
This role provides plantwide leadership during the night shift, with accountability for safety, security, quality oversight, and production performance. The position ensures that all safety, security, inspections, training, and operating procedures comply with OSHA and other applicable regulations. The role partners closely with frontline leaders to develop and mentor Shift Production Leaders, ensures clear and effective communication across all levels of the organization, and collaborates with training and engagement partners to drive positive cultural change.
This position ensures compliance with established quality systems, policies, procedures, and best practices, as well as all applicable local, state, and federal safety regulations. Regular and punctual attendance is an essential function of the role. The ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English is required. The individual is expected to uphold organizational values at all times.
- Provides leadership alignment and operational direction for night shift manufacturing operations
- Actively establishes and reinforces a safe, secure, and compliant work environment through visible leadership
- Champions a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and high-quality performance
- Develops and strengthens leadership capability at all levels of the organization
- Coaches, consults, and supports leaders, teams, and individuals to drive higher levels of performance and engagement
- Maintains full responsibility for GMP compliance and all related regulatory requirements within operations
- Ensures the production environment remains clean, safe, and audit-ready for all associates
- Resolves operational and personnel issues in partnership with Shift Production Leaders using a servant leadership approach
- Manages night shift operations in alignment with organizational values and expectations
- Partners with Human Resources as needed to address associate concerns and employee relations matters
- Spends more than 75% of working time on the production floor overseeing plant activities
- Performs additional duties as required to support overall business needs
- Bachelor’s degree required in Science, Industrial Management, Business, Engineering, or a related discipline
- Minimum of 10 years of experience delivering results in a highly automated manufacturing environment
- Minimum of 5 years of people leadership experience
- Experience leading other people leaders, hourly production associates, and technical teams preferred
- Smoke-free workplace; tobacco, vaping, marijuana, and related products are not permitted on company property
- Jewelry, false eyelashes, press-on nails, and dermal piercings are not permitted on the production floor
- Steel-toe, slip-resistant footwear is required on the production floor
This is an on-site role emphasizing in-person collaboration to support operational excellence and effective problem-solving.
Candidate Profile- 10–15 years of relevant manufacturing experience
- Mid-Senior level leadership background
- Proven management experience required
- Bachelor’s degree required
- No travel required
A strong manufacturing operations leader with experience overseeing plant operations on the night shift. This individual leads Supervisors and associates to meet production targets while fostering a culture focused on growth, accountability, and continuous improvement.
