Shipping and Receiving Coordinator

Aurora Technologies, Inc. is a custom machine shop leading the industry in thermosets and thermoplastics. We are seeking a qualified Shipping/Receiving Coordinator for our ATI South location.
1st Shift is from 7am - 3:30pm, Monday-Friday

Job Description:

As the Shipping and Receiving Coordinator you would be responsible for all inbound and outbound shipping functions. A keen sense of organization, accuracy, and accountability are a must.

Manage logistics of outbound shipments, both freight and ground, domestic and international.

Ship customer's parts and package them adequately to prevent damage.

Receive raw materials, hardware, and other goods.

Utilize a computer to generate shipping labels and packing slips for each shipment.

Verifying contents of all shipments against packing lists, and ensuring all items are properly labeled with lot identification tags.

Work closely with production to coordinate the flow of products ensuring they are packed and processed promptly.

Lift and manually transport materials and packages to designated skids and carts.

Maintain accurate inventory of finished goods and pull stock for orders promptly.

Comply with all safety and environmental rules and regulations; comply with internal ATI practices.

Support all 6s and lean initiatives.

Required Knowledge and

Skills:

1+ years experience in shipping and receiving operations

Computer skills are a must Ability to read work orders

Ability to work independently

Forklift experience

Ability to communicate with customers professionally via email and phone

High level of attention to detail

Basic understanding of Microsoft Excel Basic Understanding of ERP systems and inventory control

Experience with shipping internationally

Physical Requirements:

Requires frequent standing and walking for eight or more hours per day Requires frequent reaching and the use of arms for wrapping and packing finished goods

Requires frequent bending and squatting

Ability to repeatedly lift materials and packages (up to 50 pounds) from the ground, carts, and forklifts
