Sandvik Coromant, a global leader in metal cutting and manufacturing solutions, is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team in Westminster, SC. What You’ll Do:As a CNC Machinist, you will set up, program, and operate a variety of CNC grinding equipment used in the production of cutting tools while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:- Set up and operate CNC grinding and manufacturing equipment.
- Create, edit, and optimize CNC programs.
- Operate centerless grinders, cylindrical grinders, CNC tool grinders, cut-off machines, and precision measuring equipment.
- Accurately enter quality, SPC, production, and other required data into company systems.
- Perform routine equipment maintenance and assist with major repairs as needed.
- Meet established productivity, machine utilization, and cycle time goals.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow all company safety, environmental, and quality standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Strong work ethic and commitment to safety.
- Attention to detail and quality workmanship.
- Ability to understand workflow impact and production priorities.
- 1-3 years of experience working with CNC machines in a manufacturing, mechanical, or process industry.
- Experience with CNC grinding equipment and precision measuring instruments.

- Shift: This position is for 2nd or 3rd shift.
- Pay Classification: W3 ($19.00 - $35.68)
