Position: General Assembler - 8:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. 3 days on, 2 days off, 2 days on, 3 days off.

Job Description -

Pay Rate is $15.50 with a $1.50 shift differential.

3 days on, 2 days off, 2 days on, 3 days off.

Candidates with previous work experience in a manufacturing work environment will have first preference.
Candidates must be able to lift up to 50lbs unassisted, required.
High school diploma or GED is required for this job assignment.
This is a climate controlled work environment.

Must pass eye exam before new hires can start - Eye exam will be required contingent upon a hire. This role requires 20/30 vision with or without corrective lenses; and/or the successful completion of a color vision exam.

Eye exam available dates and time:
Tuesdays and Thursdays in the morning.

Position Description

(Briefly describe the job’s primary purpose or contribution to the department or organization)

Operate, optimize, and changeover assigned departmental production equipment. Responsible for meeting/exceeding production standards, maintaining product quality, minimizing/preventing equipment downtime, and sustaining budgeted waste levels on a daily basis.

  • Operate production equipment with the Sharps Department, while meeting quality, productivity, waste, and safety goals.
  • Operate all packaging equipment, ensuring that product is properly packed and labeled per specification.
  • Participates as team associate in activities required to ensure successful daily operations of the Sharps Department.
  • Operates all equipment at acceptable quality and quantity levels.
  • Performs quality checks as required by specifications.
  • Maintains accurate production, downtime and quality check records.
  • Notifies technical personnel of equipment malfunctions.
  • Utilizes Batch Numbers as assigned in SAP.
  • Stamps Batch Numbers on shelf cartons and case cartons with correct product and batch information.
