2 nd Shift - 2p-10p-Monday thru Friday

3 rd Shift - starts up on Sunday night and work thru Friday morning - 10p-6a

SUMMARY: Sets up and operates MIG welding equipment to fit and weld fabricated sheet metal parts into fitted boxes to specified dimensional tolerances by performing the following duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES include the following:
Other duties may be assigned. Inspect parts for defects from previous operations.

Must be able to satisfactorily perform all duties and responsibilities referenced in the work instructions for this position.

Must be able to read and understand drawings and blueprints and use a tape measure correctly.

Must be flexible and able to work overtime daily or weekends or have your daily schedule changed with little or no notice.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand. The employee frequently is required to walk, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear.
The employee must frequently lift and /or move up to 45 pounds unassisted and frequently lift and / or move more than 45 pounds assisted ( use 2 employees, mechanical / hoist) and be comfortable with heavy lifting and / or physical labor. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception. Employees are not permitted to climb or operate 8 feet or more above ground.
